When you arrive at our clinic, the staff will greet you and seat you at the waiting room. We will examine you as quick as possible – average waiting time is 15-30 minutes.
What happens if I am a new patient?
If you are new to our clinic, please come at least 15 minutes before your appointment time to fill out new patient information. If you have HMO insurance, please change your PCP name to “Governors Family Practice”. Copay, if applicable, is due at time of appointment. During first visit, we will discuss your problem and ask about your medical history. A thorough examination will then follow if necessary. We may request examinations and tests to assist and support our diagnosis.
If you have previous examinations and tests related to your current condition, please bring those along to the consultation. Also bring any copies of letters from other doctors or recent medication. It will help us to help you.
Do you have Imaging (x-rays, ultrasonography, CT-scan) facilities?
We do not. But Imaging facilities as well as laboratories are within one mile radius of our office.
Do you examine children at your clinic?
We accept children who are five years old and above.
What happens if I need an injection?
Certain cases require injections for quick and full recovery. These can include antibiotics, anti-inflammators, local anesthesia or steroids.
Steroids and local anesthesia injections are administered by Doctors and anti-inflammators / antibiotics by an experienced assistanats under our supervision.
What happens if I need a prescription?
Prescriptions were sent via electronically to pharmacies during your appointment. If you are out of medications before your next regular appointment, you can call our prescription line and leave message. Those messages are usually handled within 1-2 business days. So it is very important not to wait until you are out of prescription.
We do not accept prescription request for controlled substances and antibiotics.
What happens if I need referral or prior authorization?
Please allow up at least three business days to do referral or prior authorization. It is your responsibility to get referral before you see a specialist. It is very difficult to backdate the referral with the insurance carriers.

Yes. We have eighteen car parking space.
